Even though most people felt it was pretty obvious he was guilty. (I'm not arguing the legal merits of the case - just the public perception at the time)
Isn't it kind of telling that nobody wants to represent Trump? Not one good lawyer out there will take a chance at becoming famous (or infamous) and a well known face on TV.

(25 posts)At the end of the day, any person that is willing to be a good client AND has money will be able to find powerful and competent lawyers willing to take up the case -regardless of guilt or innocence.
Trumps biggest problem is he is a nightmare client - OJ realized his only chance was to hire the best and do as he was told. Even great atheletes understand a need for a coach and he proved that during his trial.

Think that will happen? NOT!

(56,828 posts)I was in college and also working part time and brought a small TV into my father's small business and watched the Iran-Contra hearings. I would have good discussions with the local mailman when he stopped into the store - he was also pretty progressive and reminded me that "Patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel"
