Well, the nut doesn't fall far from the shell!

Ol' Mitty Romney said he is a "bigger" hawk on immigration than Trump! Given that Trump is afraid of hawks, Mitt is still full of himself as is Trump!

There also has to be a joke there somewhere?

They've tried to polish that turd, but I'm not sure it has advanced much past allowing black athletes in BYU.

They probably still want to set up Deseret.

Not sure how they would handle all of the Hispanics and Native Americans there, but back then (1849) slavery was still legal.

Mormonism and members of the Mormon Faith (and I say that as a Mormon) - but the idea they want to recreate Deseret is pretty silly.

that I know are very interested in being inclusive. FWIW, I think they were mostly democrats (most of my connections were with mormon pockets in other states -not Utah, which still leans a lot right! Anyway, they were mostly in FL).

And not only did he come to the US and take up full citizenship, he ran for president and served as a state governor.

Like so many of us with immigrant ancestors, Romney prefers to believe that his family has "been here all along!"

In fact, the far more liberal immigration policies of the past they benefited us personally, but they also benefited the United States.
