Nothing says hes going to fire Mueller like GOP Senators begging him not to.

Surprise bipartisan statement from Sens. Coons and Tillis: "We urge President Trump to allow the Special Counsel to complete his work without impediment, which is in the best interest of the American people, the President, and our nation.”

In today’s hyperpartisan climate, we can take nothing for granted. DOJ leadership need to affirm that they will uphold their oaths and defend the rule of law from White House interference.

With Pres. Trump’s disdain for the Special Counsel investigation clearer than ever, we need to be ready if he orders Justice Dept. leadership to interfere with it or shut it down.

Senate Democrats have sent a letter to Justice Department officials calling on them to protect Robert Mueller.

Dems to top DOJ officials: Publicly promise not to interfere in Mueller's probe

Several Senate Democrats are urging top officials at the Department of Justice (DOJ) to make a public commitment that they will not interfere in special counsel Robert Mueller's probe, including refusing potential requests from the White House.

“We have significant concerns that the president or his White House could order individuals at the Department of Justice with the authority to oversee Special Counsel Mueller’s probe to interfere with the probe or shut it down," they wrote in letters dated March 7 but released publicly on Tuesday.

Democratic Sens. Richard Blumenthal (Conn.), Patrick Leahy (Vt.), Dick Durbin (Ill.), Sheldon Whitehouse (R.I.), Dianne Feinstein (Calif.), Chris Coons (Del.), Mazie Hirono (Hawaii), Cory Booker (N.J.) and Kamala Harris (Calif.) signed the letters.

The senators said they were sending the letters to individuals who are in the line of succession if Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein "were to either resign or be removed."

The repubs want Mueller gone but it must be completely by tRumps own hand in case it backfires.

He was pretty extreme, but compared to Trump's current "advisors", he was Pericles. And who wants to bet one reason he quit was he disagreed with Trump's desire to fire Mueller.

Senator Blumenthal is GREAT. Maxine Waters gave him a lot of appreciation.
I was wondering why I got a gmail from NOBODY IS ABOVE THE LAW again today. It began in Dec when Congress went on Winter Vacation and people thought Mueller would be fired so events were planned in hundreds of cities to be ready within hours of an announcement to protest the action. Since Dec. hundreds of additional cities have signed on and will be ready to resist. Now Roesenstein's firing is added to Mueller's as a reason for talking immediate action.
