Is the GOP trying to destroy the Census with this ploy? Because the conservatives in

Canada stopped the long form census and gave some excuse like privacy. But it may just be another way for all good information to be private, thus only available to big companies and rich people who can pay for it, giving the already rich a leg up on small business and regular people. Corruption in another name if the Census is destroyed in a battle. I mean if many do not fill out the census form, or that question, there could be a battle over the legitimacy of the census and it could be diminished and destroyed if horders of enumerators are not sent out to fix it. Like Trump undoing DACA and then trying to get democrats to vote on it as part of immigration overhall.

If you can intimidate minority voters from even filing out the census they won't be counted. If the GOP had its way they would only count white voters and preferably white males older than 40.

not doing any of the census form, that is a bad idea. Much depends on the census - forming legislative districts and federal monies that will cover less than expected. Schools are struggling as it is and if lots of people go uncounted, it will get worse.

I guess I should have used the thingie.

Yeah, it would be a great idea to have every democrat indicate that they are not a citizen on the census form. That'll surely get us some more and better representation.
