Was that first picture taken when she was still claiming that Jews are Nazis? Or after she decided that she was moving to Israel and calling herself “Rabbi Barr?”

For the record, my most charitable possible interpretation is that she’s a comedian who has been confusing being offensive with being funny — and did it continuously for years and in the worst possible way (even Tom Green grew out of that shit). Part of that same “charitable” theory is that the reason she confused the two is because she is seriously mentally ill.

I used to know a bunch of “Sovereign Citizens” and militia weirdos and assorted right wing hangers-on (my best friend’s parents started the local militia group and we were teenagers with nothing better to do except smoke pot and giggle in the back of their meetings, because even as children we knew they were all ridiculous). All were serious. All were misguided. Many were dumb and/or looking to belong to any group that would have them. A few were just crazy.

Roseanne reminds me of all of them: serious, misguided, a little dumb, and definitely crazy as shit.
