(our moment of ZEN)Conservative columnist and author Ann Coulter late Tuesday accused President Trump of being an "ignoramus" who is "not giving us what he promised" during a stinging attack at Columbia University.
The former pro-Trump writer lambasted the president over a perceived failure to deliver on key immigration promises in comments reported by The Daily Beast.
I knew he was a shallow, lazy ignoramus, and I didnt care, Coulter told the audience, which was largely comprised of College Republicans, according to the news outlet.
It kind of breaks my heart, she added. Hes not giving us what he promised at every single campaign stop.

(14,483 posts)Trump's minions act as if they believe anything he said on the campaign trail could be implemented by the executive. He in turn worsened those beliefs by showing his ass with his trite executive order signings.
Apparently, they are not aware we have government with three counter-balancing branches.

Mark my words, four years (six at most) after the Trump Era, and this country will be like nothing ever happened.

The wall is only 1/2 of the promise, the bill is the most important other 1/2. It's why his sheep screamed in a zealous, fervent, fanatical voice every time he asked them "who's gonna pay for the wall?...."

(9,085 posts)I have no sympathy for Ann Coulter. She got what she voted and campaigned for.
In the fall of 2016, American citizen-voters had a choice between a dishonest, impulsive, belligerent ignoramus and an experienced, knowledgeable leader who had proven herself capable of leading the country through crises. I believed then, I believe not that American citizen-voters had a duty, and still have a duty, to the Constitution, to the Republic, and to posterity to elect competent leadership, even if their candidate is not all we could wish.
Annie went off and beat the drums for Donald Trump.
I have no respect for Annie's decision-making processes, and no sympathy that her little fee-fees got hurt. Tens of millions of Americans will hurt, hundreds of millions of people will suffer because of Annie's and countless others' bad judgement, made in the face of overwhelming evidence that a Trump Presidency would be a disaster.
Annie, do the US a great big favor. Shut Up. Just. Go. Away.
