When potential customers get nervous, they take their business elsewhere. Once impeached, the Russian oligarchs will call their loans because he is no longer of much value to them. There has to be a fairly high risk that Trump's financial house of cards is going to come tumbling down.

So political cost is not the only concern for Trump ... or his wife and Trump may well die in prison though it won't likely be penniless because he'll have pensions or some dough stashed in things folks can't touch (unless they nail him on tax evasion ..).
