Laura took a mean shot at a survivor of a horrific experience. In public for all to see. She thought that she could get away with it because she was "Laura Ingraham of Fox News"....so instead of apologizing directly and instantly in a kind and regretful way...Like, "I am sorry and I was wrong for what I said, please forgive me..." Instead of that...which might have worked...

She snarked it up, It was a sarcastic mean statement...But also, she mocked him. .."In the interest of the holy week...."..or whatever, and most important of all....."she thought she could get away with it" Her arrogance and attitude that basically says, "I am from Fox News, and I can say what I want" has destroyed her. It is a reflection of Trump and that whole attitude of "I am invincible."

Her advertisers know you don't talk that way, but she did not know. Her arrogance blinded her.
Perhaps she has learned something. Perhaps. Maybe others have learned. Maybe, but I sincerely doubt it.

If she had done that on her hate show and the audience was her usual folks that valued 55 to dead demographic she would have been ok. However she went on the kids turf. No body is going to out do them on social media. I would bet they can raise 5 million folks on social media in 24 hours.
