Bracewell is a good Texas firm. Rudy used to be at this firm. I know that a number of Bracewll partners were very very happy when Rudy left.

This lady is a former federal judge and was selected by Judge Kimba Wood. I am willing to wait and see but these are strong qualifications

This may help calm your nerves https://www.cnbc.com/2018/04/26/trump-lawyer-michael-cohen-appears-in-federal-court-for-hearing-.html

Jones' boss during her tenure as a federal prosecutor was Rudy Giuliani, the former New York mayor who was recently named to the legal team of Trump to represent him in an investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Jones joined the Bracewell law firm in May 2016, shortly after Giuliani left as a name partner in that firm.

The Bracewell firm is a good firm

She is in private practice now, handling white collar crime & financial fraud. So that's great. She'll know & understand lots of Cohen financial & white collar crime docs without having to work too hard at it.

She was apptd as a federal judge by Clinton back in the day, after being recommended by Patrick Moynihan.

She actually worked as a prosecutor for a while in that same southern district of New York.

She did work for Giuliani at one time, which is worrisome. Is there a chance for leaking to Giuliani?

All in all, she seems extremely competent. I didn't see any red flag to indicate she'll be unfair.

There is not a darn thing that we can do about this choice. I am comforted to know that she has great credentials.
