Teaching our sons the truth on trickle down economics

So sitting at the dining room table with our sons. With the three domestic wolves I give a demonstration. I ask boog the chocolate lab can you be BOOG Corp and the top one percent in this project. Boog gave me several wag wags and drooling so I took that as a yes man. I’ll be the top one percent in this project.

Now for demonstration purposes only dad will play the house and senate repugs and our golden retriever and Newfie will be the working class. So I say see how boog kisses my hand and wag wags in real life that is the one percent cash donations to my campaign I can be persuaded and bought. Because the Supreme Court has allowed oligarchs and corporations to buy democracy.

So I get a piece of toast with jelly and tell boog I’m going to give you this toast with jelly. You take and then reinvest it with the other dogs and boog ate the whole thing. And now the other two dogs look at me man what about us. And I said now boys we totally ignore them ,as we’re the senate and House and we legalized the theft from the working class. In this tax scam bill that has passed and that is why never vote republican boys.

"Of course, so what's your point?" Because he knows, and the GOP knows, that no matter how much toast and jam you give the rich and refuse the working class and poor, there are still millions of dogs who will stay loyal -- if only because they know that though they may be starving because of this rigged system, so are the cats.

It’s not just that the Supreme Court spontaneously decided to let oligarchs buy our democracy.

It’s that the oligarchs created and funded an organization, the Federalist Society, to find and
brainwash future Supreme Court justices to back oligarchs. And the oligarchs funded think tanks to brainwash their future judges.

Just like only 10% of Americans would be conservatives without the oligarch and corporate propaganda, probably only 10% of judges would be conservatives without the oligarch and corporate ideological machine.

The term "trickle down" is such a midleading ruse.

was that not only was the whole theory bullshit to begin with, but we were also expected to be happy with what the rich swept off their tables. That picture describes it perfectly.

I remember back in the late 70's/early 80's watching an interview with a someone who was a descendant of some incredibly wealthy family. Can't remember which family, but it was up there in the Vanderbilt and Rockefeller strata. She said flat out that she was raised to always give about 15% of her income to charity, set up foundations, etc., as well as pay taxes, because this country is what made their wealth possible, and they owed it to the "system" to give back. That mind set has unfortunately passed. These "nouveau riche", Ayn Randian assholes we're dealing with don't give a damn about their own children's future, much less anyone else's.

There is a CEO, a libertarian and a working class person. They have a dozen donuts. The CEO eats eleven of them, then tells the libertarian to beware, that the third guy is out to steal their donuts.
