I just saw a Repub election commercial. Should be a DU project to refute it.

The ad showed people with bad, messy hair and long faces. I'm guessing they were forlorn and depressed people who were out of work, because the gist was that Obama is outsourcing their jobs and has promised jobs he couldn't deliver.

I thought, hmmm, this ad would be so easy to refute, because Repub candidates were the ones who voted down every job generating effort that Obama tried to push--but more to the point, every one of those actors on the ad were portraying the very kind of individual that the Repubs detest. People who were not working, and who Republicans did not want to be taxed to support.

So, it looks like Republicans are covering all their bases. It's like a devolving formula: they're teaching Republican voters to hate people who don't have jobs; and they're getting people who don't have jobs to blame Obama for their circumstance; and they're making sure that the problem can't be fixed.

It's a simple three step process. Maybe we should make an ad to point it out?
