Canadians have more wealth than Americans

They were talking about this on Morning Joe, but nobody mentioned:
Canadians do not have to go bankrupt because of health care
Canadians have reasonable college tuition
50% of Canadians have paid off their mortgage so have more disposable income to save
Canadians have strong Unions so they have higher wages
Canadians have strong banking regulations, no sub primes allowed
If we had this policies in our country we would also have a higher income

Also why doesn't Morning Joe identify Corker as rep for Bank of America, he is on their payroll.

Canada is very far from perfect, but even our generally-horrible Conservative government has implemented stricter regulation of mortgages. The whole sub-prime implosion never happened here because those sub-prime mortgages were never legal here.

He talks and talks about rising health care costs here but never gets to the core issue which is our for profit health care system. It's amazing...

we wouldn't recognize this nation.

In our day these economic truths have become accepted as self-evident. We have accepted, so to speak, a second Bill of Rights under which a new basis of security and prosperity can be established for all—regardless of station, race, or creed.

Among these are:

The right to a useful and remunerative job in the industries or shops or farms or mines of the nation;

The right to earn enough to provide adequate food and clothing and recreation;

The right of every farmer to raise and sell his products at a return which will give him and his family a decent living;

The right of every businessman, large and small, to trade in an atmosphere of freedom from unfair competition and domination by monopolies at home or abroad;

The right of every family to a decent home;

The right to adequate medical care and the opportunity to achieve and enjoy good health;

The right to adequate protection from the economic fears of old age, sickness, accident, and unemployment;

The right to a good education.

All of these rights spell security. And after this war is won we must be prepared to move forward, in the implementation of these rights, to new goals of human happiness and well-being.

Every one of today's problems, problems that 'our' Democrats just can't seem to do anything about are addressed in this list of unrecognized human rights.

...the University of Ottawa, it's about $9000 per semester for undergrad Arts. That's tuition and incidentals, not living expenses. So it's not cheap, really.

marry them off to a couple of sweet Canadian girls like their grandmother, and I thought college would be the place for them to meet some. So much for that theory! LOL
