FLIPPABLE: Christine Fischer for OH-AD27

Christine was raised in a household dedicated to education with both parents being professors. Having attended a STEM focused public school, she went on to get her Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering from Queen’s University. In college, Christine balanced her focus between her studies, her work in student government and education policy advocacy. In her senior year, she was student President representing 15,000 undergraduate students to the University administration and all levels of government. She led policy efforts across multiple universities and brought education policy to state and federal government.

After graduation, Christine was hired at Procter & Gamble as a Finance Manager and has been pro- viding financial leadership there since 2005. She has served in a number of roles at P&G including managing the forecasting process for the largest business (Tide), being the finance leader for P&G’s facilities & real estate globally, and leading the long term strategy and innovation work for Charmin & Bounty. Currently, Christine is the Finance Leader for the Charmin Brand with over $2.5 Billion in annual sales.

Christine has been politically active throughout her life and was raised with the understanding that for democracy to thrive we all need to be active participants. In 2017, Christine entered the political scene for the first time as a candidate for Cincinnati School Board. While she did not win, she received over 10,000 votes. Christine raised $15,000 from 85 donors and was endorsed by the Charter Committee, Cincinnati Women’s Political Caucus, Building Trades Union, and IBEW. She personally collected every single signature on her petition, knocked on thousands of doors, and attended countless community events. Christine has since been appointed to the Audit Committee for Cincinnati Public Schools.

Christine and her husband Jason live in Mt. Lookout with their two children and their dog. They love living in Cincinnati and enjoy spending time as a family at Ault Park, walking the Loveland Trail, and getting ice cream at Graeters. Her passions include public policy, family, cooking, music, hiking, and spreadsheets (yes, really!).
