Most Americans believe President Trump runs his administration in an unconventional way, however less than one-in-five are surprised by his behavior, a poll released Tuesday found.
A Monmouth University poll, conducted April 26-30, found just 9 percent of American adults are very surprised by the way Trump has handled the presidency. Another 10 percent said they are somewhat surprised.
Most Americans -- 81 percent -- said Trump has run his administration in a way that is less conventional than his predecessors, according to the poll.
Twenty-seven percent said his approach to the office is good for the country, compared to 46 percent who said his approach is bad for the country.
The poll surveyed 803 people, and has a margin of error of 3.5 percentage points.
