I DO NOT see Trump going the distance on the Mueller thing.

It has gotten too intense...the "Witch Hunt that goes on forever" seems more of a matter of Mueller planning ahead for every possibility. This man's not crafting "Plan B." He's setting up plan A through Z.

Today was a freaking typhoon of bad news for Trump.

Also, take a look at this: https://www.rawstory.com/2018/05/trumps-lawyers-preparing-showdown-mueller-report/

EXCERPT:

According to CNN’s sources familiar with Trump’s legal team, the lawyers are “bracing for the dramatic possibility that Mueller would subpoena” the president — a move that could “could force a lengthy court fight” and challenge the president’s legal power “all the way up to the Supreme Court.”

When CNN asked their sources if Trump would ever plead the Fifth Amendment in response to theoretical questions from Mueller, they responded that there are a number of “constitutional challenges” to be met for that to become a possibility.

“Many legal observers believe that if Mueller issues a grand jury subpoena for Trump’s testimony,” CNN noted, “the courts will order the president to comply, because the Supreme Court has repeatedly ordered presidents to comply with subpoenas.”

That's one of SEVERAL stories that came out today, all adding up to a living HELL for the remainder of Trump's term.

I don't think his attorneys are up to the task.

I don't think Devin Nunes can save him.

I think the midterms are going to slam the exit doors shut.

Trump's not smart, and he's not strong. He's a snake, and slowly and methodically, Mueller is sealing off every possible path that would allow him to slither away unscathed.

Impeachment? Maybe. Resignation? Maybe, even though the popular opinion is that he'd "never do that."

What will he do if there's no way out?

Even if he is served with a subpoena and the supreme court rules that he must comply he will just defy the order.

What then ?

Give him the offer to flee with his kids to anywhere without an extradition treaty with the US and I'd think he might take it.

I don't see this ending well for him AT ALL!

He will be forced to answer a subpoena by the Supreme Court. If he doesn't, how can he answer why not to the media and his peeps.

I think he might quit and say that Mueller is being unfair and mean to him and he has better things to do, like retire and run his empire.

His testimony was filmed, and it was shown later to the public. Can't wait for THAT with Trump.

I don't see that happening with Trump at all. I don't know if he'd be filmed or not. If he had a camera on him, he'd eventually have to yell about fake media, witch hunts, and the size of his inauguration crowd. He'd be in the hot seat, and I don't see him handling that well for even a few seconds. It would be a disaster...maybe the disaster that's needed to end this, but still a disaster.

so unless he resigns (which I doubt he would do due to his enormous ego) then are we stuck with him for 2 1/2 years?

stashed in offshore accounts. Trump could be out of the country in minutes and headed for some country that doesn't have an extradition treaty with the US.

So, they're hiring lawyers of their own, and putting the house in the kids' names? Maybe looking at condos in argentina?

These fools couldn't settle a speeding ticket.

Then they will haul his lying cheating stealing ass out of the White House in chains. Well, that's my dream anyway. I think that the DOJ will let him walk out of the WH with his dignity intact to keep from offending the GOP. Either way, that treasonous bastard should spend the rest of his life in prison.

Or better yet, drop him into one of his stated 'shithole' countries...
and let fate take its course.
