I think that is one of the lesser situations here, Cuomo began. There is bad decision making on display here and swampy by definition. If what the presidents mandate was partially about was draining the swamp, getting rid of the people who will choose preference over power, why stand by this guy? The Morocco example alone. Somebody setting up a trip to Morocco and they get hired as a lobbyist.
Santorum argued that there is a lot of smoke here but refused to conceded that it meant there was a fire.
---------------
Santorum responded to the comment about Trumps lies but claiming that former President Barack Obama lied, too. It was an argument that prompted Cuomo to note his 8-year-old son knew better than to try. Santorum claimed that Obamas lies were worse than Trumps because, despite being considerably fewer, they were more substantive.
Moral relativism from a practicing Catholic, Cuomo said, calling out Santorums faith

(508 posts)The history of santorum defined;
http://www.yourdictionary.com/santorum
"...From the surname of former US Senator Rick Santorum (born 1958). After Santorum made statements comparing homosexuality to bestiality and opining that mutually consenting adults do not have a constitutional right to privacy with respect to sexual acts, US columnist Dan Savage gathered input from his readers and held a contest for definitions to "memorialize the scandal". Savage set up a website which defined the term, and helped to promote it. See Campaign for "santorum" neologism for further information...."

(8,885 posts)Few people who contribute political commentary on political shows have done more to earn their clown stripes than Rick Santorum. Every time he opens his mouth clown spews out of him. He glows clown. He should wear a red nose when he is commenting. He is absolutely not to be taken seriously about anything, he is a political nobody with a history of assinine comments. I don't understand why even right wing shows values his opinions unless they are going for comedic value. For me he is an automatic channel switch.

The sometimes frothy, usually slimy, amalgam of lubricant, stray fecal matter, and ejaculate that leaks out of the receiving partner's anus after a session of anal intercourse.
Named, by popular demand and usage, after legislator Rick Santorum because of his homophobic political statements.

"Upon their son's death, Rick and Karen Santorum opted not to bring his body to a funeral home. Instead, they bundled him in a blanket and drove him to Karen's parents' home in Pittsburgh. There, they spent several hours kissing and cuddling Gabriel with his three siblings, ages 6, 4 and 1 1/2,"

Ive seen him shred too many Trump administration people to think otherwise.

Not only is he dishonest and stupid in his spin, his last name is close to being spelled like mine. I love that you can look up his name in a dictionary but mine isn't. The definition of his last name means so much more to me because that's what he is. All shit and froth. ugh

(14,153 posts)When so many lies after lies upon lies after more lies by their dear leader finally forces them to admit that yes, he does lie.....their counter punch is that Obama made BIGGER lies, even though fewer. And those few lies added up to much more egregiousness than all the many lies that Trump tells.

(118,032 posts)How the public-school-loathing GOP candidate used Pennsylvanias taxpayer dollars to school his kids in Virginia.
STEPHANIE MENCIMER
JAN. 4, 2012 9:00 PM
... Santorum .. campaigned on the fact that his seven kids have been home-schooled ... Santorum .. appeared at a handful of home-schooling conferences ...
... Between 2001 and 2004, that online school allowed the Santorum family to live in Virginia, while sticking Pennsylvania taxpayers with a $100,000 bill.
In 2004 .. news broke that he was no longer residing in the state that sent him to Congress and was living instead .. in Leesburg, Virginia. Santorum owned .. a house in Penn Hills, Pennsylvania, next door to his in-laws ... But after Santorum got elected to the Senate in 1994, he bought a much larger home in Virginia that would accommodate his ever-growing family. Some relatives moved into the Penn Hills house, but Santorum continued to use it to claim residency in Pennsylvania, where he voted by absentee ballot.
... Nor did the Santorums simply home-school the kids. Instead .. they enrolled five of their kids in the Pennsylvania Cyber Charter School, based out of tiny Beaver County, Pennsylvania ... When Santorum enrolled his kids there, the local school district in Penn Hills was forced to pick up the tab for the cyber school, which cost the district $38,000 a year for the Santorum children ...

(12,536 posts)When Santorum made the asinine statement about Obama telling fewer lies but more substantive ones, Cuomo could have asked him to spell them out, and explain how quantitatively they were worse than the 3,000+ lies Trump has told, both big (Mexico is going to pay for the Wall), and small (his inauguration crowd was the largest in the history of the country, period).
Obama -- in fact, no president during my lifetime -- has never made such an all-out attack on the Justice Department, the FBI, the CIA, the court system, and the rule of law generally. He's not doing it alone, of course -- the Repugs are jumping in and echoing every lie Trump tells as if it were the gospel truth.
Anything Santorum considers to be a lie told by Obama (mostly around the details around the Affordable Care Act, of which the greatest number were caused by Republican governors not following the law), didn't come close to Trump trying (and apparently succeeding) in destroying the reputation and ability of these vital enforcement organizations to do their job of protecting the American people.
