Why Romney’s Pulling Back on PA Ad Spending

John Micek reads the new Quinnipiac poll, which finds PA slipping further away from Romney. Obama leads by 11, and the internals are even worse for Mitt. Check out that 24-point gap with women!:

•Pennsylvania women voters back Obama 59 – 35 percent, while men go 50 percent for Romney and 47 percent for Obama. Independent voters back Obama 58 – 36 percent.

•Among Obama voters, 59 percent strongly favor him while 33 percent like him with reservations and 7 percent say their vote is against Romney.

•Among Romney voters, 41 percent strongly favor him while 37 percent like him with reservations and 22 percent say they are voting against Obama.

11. The sampling rate shows an oversampling of Democrats by 7%. I have been warning about this

about this for several months now. I have also been warning DU that the use of registered voters rather than likely voters is wrong and leads to overly optimistic results. Well, this poll *does* use likely voters, so that's good. But, until I see a poll that uses the correct sampling of Democrats to Republicans, and uses likely voters, then I'll start being optimistic.

5. If this was the Bush DOJ and a Dem said what some of the PA state congressmembers

...said they'd be in jail by now.

Don't understand Holder, it's treasonous what the GOP is doing in regards to votes...

The DNC seems to thing that 10,000 votes isn't going to be an election turner but it was during the 2000 election.

8. PA Voter ID bill could disenfranchise over 800K voters (which is 125k more than needed in 2008)

Obama won PA by 10%

It was around 624k votes between Obama vs. McCain

IF this voter ID bill stands then over 800k voters could be disenfranchised mainly in the urban areas with Youth, elderly and minorities.

Romney has more money than Moses to run this race.

9. Hmmm -- 58 percent of PA's independent voters back Obama

And 61 percent of America's independent voters want to see Romney's tax returns (link).

Coincidence?
