Giuliani has completely destroyed Cohen's defense and someone or some two are lying. This is what I don't understand about this strategy. Cohen has no where to turn now except to become a witness against Trump

there's is no way Cohen doesn't have incriminating information and documents and taped conversations on Trump and the grand jury and American people are going to believe contemporaneous admissions/statements against interests. I guess they are aiming at a straight political victory in the Senate after impeachment--that strategy could well destroy the Republican Party. Breaking point is when the Republican primaries are over and Republican candidates have to defend Trump in the general election-who knows what the volume of damaging disclosure will come out in the next 5 months

I can't believe that Cohen could have been dumb enough to believe otherwise. He must have trusted that Trump's crimes and peccadillos were safely hidden, not reckoning on the scrutiny a president gets.

Cohen was fucked by whatever factors put Trump in the White House.
