Giuliani said on Fox last night that Trump paid back the $130,000 Cohen paid to Stormy Daniels.

Today, I've heard several versions of this same thing on MSNBC. I was just about to post this thread to ask if anyone recalled previously in the early days when this story first broke, that Cohen was being interviewed (I believe he was outside in front of a building) and he said that he had paid Daniels by taking out a home equity line of credit on his residence, and when asked if Trump had paid him back, he said "NO". It was the first time I felt just a little sorry for the guy, thinking "Is there anyone Trump won't screw over?". But no one was mentioning anything about the fact that Cohen had said Trump had never paid it back, and I was starting to wonder whether I had really heard that, or imagined it.

Before I could hit post, there was a guest on The Beat with Ari Melber Show, named Paul S. Ryan, from Common Cause, VP, Policy and Litigation, and he made the statement in response to a question from the guest host that "Giuliani's earlier statement proved that he (Giuliani) didn't know campaign finance laws when he made his earlier statement" and "that Michael Cohen made an illegally large cash contribution to the Trump campaign the minute he tapped into his home equity line of credit for $130,000 that he used to pay off Stormy Daniels."

I was glad to hear that reaffirmed knowing that I had heard it but no one was talking about this and Giuliani is making the rounds saying that Cohen was paid back and Cohen had said that he was never paid back by Trump which makes Trump the worse kind of slimball and Giuliani talking crap about I take care of my clients all the time. They don't have time to worry about things like this. My thought was 'yeh right, but would you pay peoples 'obligations' if they don't pay you back like Trump has a long track record of not paying his bills?

The game they are laying is trial by media and public polling

For example, the "this type of extortion happens to famous people all the time"

As far as the numbers game, don't forget the FBI has Cohens records
