GOP Attacks on Obamacare Have Hurt Republicans the Most

A few separate studies by Gallup, Harvard and the Commonwealth Fund all point to more people being uninsured in the Trump era. The Commonwealth Fund’s research, the most recently published, shows uninsured Republicans going from 7.9 percent in 2016 to 13.9 percent in early 2018. Over the same period, uninsured Democrats have held firm at 9.1 percent.

As Mother Jones notes, Republicans now have a higher uninsured rate than before Obamacare even. Talk about undoing all of the positive work the previous president tried to provide for the entire country.

It always amazes me how people vote against their own self interest

That Democrats are more responsible overall. Repubs are more "independently principled" -- like a three year old -- "No one's gonna make me, wah wah wah!"
