Man who went on wild racist rant against two black women identified as E. Ruggiero, denies it's him

LIRR rider recalls rattling racist rant spewed at her on train, plans to press charges: 'He made me feel disgusting'

......

"He needs to pay for what he's done to me...This cannot continue to happen. It's 2018."

Orelien spoke out a day after cellphone footage of the man's foul mouth onslaught burned up social media.

The black Baruch College senior was riding the train on April 19 when the white man started lobbing vile verbal rockets at her because he thought she was talking too loudly into her phone.

"You're a loudmouth monkey motherf----r," spewed the man who had sat down directly in front of Orelien.

"I can't listen to your black ass no more."

Several sources identified the hate-filled hothead as Edward Ruggiero, a Manhattan stagehand who lives in Long Beach, L.I.

Reached outside his home, Ruggiero denied that he was the man in the video despite looking and sounding exactly like him.

"It ain't me," Ruggiero said.

"I've seen the video, yeah. A hundred guys at work have showed it to me, saying 'Oh my god! It looks like you!"

Orelien had no doubt Ruggiero was her harasser after seeing a photo taken by a Daily News photographer outside his house.

"That's definitely him," she said.

"Of course he's denying it. He's embarrassed by it. The whole world saw your face. You cannot hide it."

Calling out racist idiots by name will remind trump's flock that cell phones and cameras exist.

. . . Rather than, "disgusting." She, and anyone with a sense of humanity should be disgusted by that person's behavior.

As for the targets of the A-hole's hatred, it's good to remember Eleanor Roosevelt's quote. "No one can make you feel inferior without your permission."

People should be able to use public transportaion without being subject to verbal harassment. People should even be able to commit minor social faux pax--such as talking too loud on a cell phone--without being harshly castigated. Above all else, they should be allowed to do normal-- sometimes less than perfect-- human things, without being called racist names that imply they are less than human.

If those young women had been white girls carrying on and getting too enthusiastic with their phones in the close confines of public transportation, the man might have gotten irritated and snapped at them.

But his real problem wasn't their youth or their lively phone conversation. His problem was with sharing the train with black people. Even worse, there was a time when people would have been intimidated enough with the tenor of the times to behave more meekly in the general presence of a "dominant" white male. He can call other people monkeys all that he wants, but he's the aging silverback gorilla on the way out.

Sucks to be you, pal. When you treat others with gracious decorum, you can earn respect and inspire cooperation. But when your social strategy is based on bullying and dominance, expect to be passed over when your power weakens.

They would have stopped the train, kicked him off, and police would have been called to question him.

Just like the Native American students in Colorado.

Or the airplanes were fellow passengers feel "uncomfortable" about someone on the plane.

I'm so tired of white men bitching and moaning about their loss of privilage. And I'm a middle aged white man. I mean, seriously, have some proper decorum.

What they've lost is the ability to shit on those they deem inferior and have it be socially acceptable to do so. Certain white folks are quite upset about that. That's what I mean by privilege.

Start with his hairline on the sides of his head..
Train photo from April 19th
In the recent photo in article he has the same hairline/style just grown in more.
He also has a distinct voice that is obviously known by whoever identified him from the online video.
