Dershowitz and Painter just went at it

on MSNBC. I only caught the last couple of minutes, but it was NASTY. Dershowitz was assailing Painter's record, calling him a liar, etc. They were each talking over the other, but Dershowitz didn't seem to be doing himself any favors.

Anyone catch the whole discussion?

7. Painter told him to stop lying about Mueller

He brought up a case and Painter said he was lying - Dershowitz then tried to go after Painter - when it wasn't working he said Painter was playing Mr Ethics so he could run as a Democrat. It then became a shouting match and the host said there were Skype problems and ran for cover

8. I have so much respect for Laurence Tribe who clearly struggles to be diplomatic towards DERSHOWITZ

with whom he seems to increasingly and dramatically disagree, yet remain fellow Harvard faculty.

Dershowitz is so damned full of himself, but both Tribe, Seth Abramson and a few others who know Dershowtiz have made some subtle digs at how little he has kept up with case law, using adamance and arrogance, instead of knowledge to bulldoze over others on various legal panels.

Painter has little patience with Trump supporters.

Plus, Hewitt dissed MN, Painter's home state, as "flyover country."

10. Dershowitz is a nasty piece of work.

When he was a Republican, Painter was part of the club and unassailable, but now he's a Democrat and Dershowitz wants to gut him. When Painter called him out for lying, Dershowitz went bananas and just started yelling, making unrelated attacks rather than admit he was lying. He looked like an idiot.
