I'm sharing this here instead of the lounge because this looks like what America is, and will always be. FU to all the fear mongers, hate spreaders and the racist base. And tRump, and especially the MAGA 's. They're not going to win.

(50,949 posts)I heard from a little way off a real down and dirty Jazz group playing something, but couldn't make out what it was. As I walked near, I saw there was a big crowd around this quartet. As I got even closer, I could see the space right in front of the quartet. What they were playing was the "ABC" song, and there were four tiny little kids, like three or four years old, just dancing in front of them. The big crowd was all just there to watch and enjoy the music and the tiny little dancers.

(51,584 posts)in the early 80s. Back then it was full of junkies and pimps. I remember I had to get off at stops blocks away and walk to my apt. Once I put a fan down next to my dad's car, went to the other side of the car and came back around for the fan and it was gone and no where in sight. My dad and I still laugh about that.
