This might be true. Or, maybe Trump is held back by other constitutional structures.

But I'd agree that there are a few worse leaders in the world. Very few.

The point is questioning whether or not Trump had anything to do with it. If he had anything to do with it, it was probably the shared concern between China, NK, and SK that Trump is a madman whom might get everybody killed. KJU is one too, but is apparently not so far gone that he doesn't have a survival instinct. And, possibly, because he can't test any more nukes right now anyway. Becoming interested in peace buys him some time and goodwill also.

place right now between NK and SK. It is the culmination of years of diplomatic efforts on the part of the South Koreans and Trump just happened to get lucky by the fact that the meeting happened during his watch.

As far as sanctions go, China probably had a lot more influence that we did. As stated in a BBC article on the subject "...it may be China's recent enforcement of UN sanctions that hit North Korea hardest. China accounts for more than 90% of North Korea's trade, and while the Security Council member voted in favour of the UN sanctions against their long-time ally, they rarely upheld those, reports the Council on Foreign Relations. However, in this past year, China appears to have enforced the sanctions."

Look, I despise absolutely everything about #fakepresident. Ok? I'm still hoping for the best while we wait out this catastrophe, and then I hope for a rapid recovery.

I don't see how I have any affect on that one way or another. I have no say in this. I was as disenfranchised by this stolen election as you were and since my Senators and Representative are all great Democrats I have done and am.doing everything I could do and can do. I am upset enough as it is. I don't need people putting words in my mouth and dumping on me for no good reason.

but I feel that Russia and or China are behind this. I feel they had a talk with Un and offered him something and want Trump to get credit to keep him in power. There is no other logical reason why Un did a complete 180.

Also, there is no reporting about his underground testing facility caving in and burying his scientists. Did it happen or not? If so, it's the cave in that stopped the testing and not any other reason.

It was his first trip to a foreign country since assuming power.

He was flat out told he’s under the Sino-Russian sphere of influence and he will behave exactly as they want OR ELSE.

He is now playing along with the Sino-Russian gambit for Korean reunification.

I would be a C note on it. There was a picture of Kim and Xi together and Kim looked like a whipped pup.

The Chinese want Korea reunified and under there influence.

TOKYO -- Japan and China will cooperate closely to ensure North Korea denuclearizes, their leaders agreed Friday, as Beijing searches for ways to stay involved in the peace process even as Washington moves in.
U.S. President Donald Trump is to hold his own summit with Kim late this month or in early June. But Beijing is loath to cede influence over any Korean peace process to Washington. Kong Xuanyou, China's vice minister of foreign affairs, said Friday that Japan's active involvement will be essential in building peace on the peninsula. Insisting on Japan's inclusion could give China some leverage to shape how peace and denuclearization play out. If the North demands economic aid in exchange for denuclearization, Japan could help put up some of the funding, making it worth China's while to court Tokyo ahead of time.

Tokyo also stands to benefit from such an association. Abe and Xi agreed in their call that their countries would cooperate on the matter of Japanese nationals abducted by North Korea decades ago, some of whom have never returned home. While Pyongyang has in the past agreed to investigate the fate of these abductees, progress has stalled in recent years.

The two sides agreed to continue improving relations when leaders from China, Japan and South Korea meet in Tokyo on Wednesday. That event will mark Chinese Premier Li Keqiang's first visit to Japan in seven years.

https://asia.nikkei.com/Politics/International-Relations/Xi-turns-to-Abe-to-keep-a-role-in-Korea-talks

Xi knows he will outlast Cheeto so getting the US out of Korea definitely strengthens China’s dominance in Asia.

that he should get the Nobel Peace Prize for bringing peace to the Korean Peninsula. The TRUTH is that the ground at the test site in N. K. is collapsing, the area is rife with unbreathable air. They HAD to stop before their part of the world was destroyed. tRump is excellent at destroying things, but he had nothing to do with this. Dignity, honor, respect, civility - yes- he has destroyed those. He had help from his fellow traitors in the gop, plus the Russians he thinks so highly of.

are still grateful to him...for perhaps avoiding a nuclear attack..
