WASHINGTON -- Our Revolution released the following statement in response to the Ohio gubernatorial primary election results.
Dennis Kucinich and Tara Samples ran a strong campaign that won support across a wide spectrum of Ohioans. While they did not succeed in winning the Democratic nomination, they ran a campaign that focused on the issues that matter most to Ohioansaffordable health care, a living wage, protecting our environment, getting military-grade weapons off the streets, and addressing the opioid epidemic," said Our Revolution President Nina Turner.
Voters want to have a choice in elections and they welcome the discussion about how we can improve our country. Dennis and Taras race should remind all aspiring elected officials, Democrats and Republicans, that they are running for the people's seats and that people want open and vigorous discussion in their primaries," Turner added.
Our Revolution supports progressive champions at every level of government. By supporting candidates up and down the ballot, we are aiming to transform American politics to make our political and economic systems responsive to the needs of working families.

I wonder why Our Revolution uses a blue banner around the photos of the losing candidates on their endorsement result page and a green banner for the winners
