Or did Cohen keep the money for his own purposes? Although that is doubtful, Cohen responded, when asked about the account this morning, that it was "inaccurate".

Of course, we should not assume that the money in Cohen's LLC would go thru US channels for whatever purposes it may be intended for?

Don Jr and Ivanka would likely know.

And as Scarborough noted this morning, it is hard to believe that any money went into any account without Donald Trump getting his cut.

"hire" Cohen to invest in a deal, with the LLC paying the bulk of the price. They could then sell with trump&co getting the bulk of the profits.

Cohen's LLC could but trump property at an inflated price. didn't Cohen's parents buy a condo in trump towers, with his name on the transaction?

Paying for things that trump wants. Transferring that money into an offshore account with trump's name on it.

3. it's more that the money went *out* of the llc to benefit donnie.

the cash didn't go directly to donnie; instead, the cash was used to pay for things that otherwise donnie would have had to pay for himself (or as trump organization).

donnie saved $130,000 by having someone else pay off stormy and more for having someone else pay off other women he had affairs with, as well as paying cohen himself.

they're now saying that donnie did put money in well after the stormy payoff, though that could be a lie, and in any event, the point is that whatever others put in is that much less that donnie had to pay himself.
