What if Trump had lost?

Would we have learned about these Russians involved in our democracy? Private Russky jets ending here with billions to launder? Facebook spying on our families? Or would Hillary's team and Intel have still rooted it all out?

If we had a government who cared about Russian interference, I do think we'd have learned about it in detail; it was well known by the intelligence community before the election but the Access Hollywood tape and the Wikileaks/stolen emails sucked all the air out of the room at the very same time that it otherwise would have been front-page news. Just horrible horrible timing.

I also think the political climate would have been just as awful as it is now because Russia would have achieved its goal of making Trump the face of a really ugly political movement. He wouldn't have had political power, but Clinton would have been assailed viciously and unceasingly and the November 2018 midterms would be a bloodbath in the other direction.

It may have been uncovered to some extent, but probably not publicized. It would have looked like a political vendetta. So the vast majority of it would have been handled quietly. Manafort probably would have still be indicted, but Flynn probably isn't. Cohen probably gets off as well. Alternately, there are probably quiet notices made to various GOP leaders basically saying "we know what you did and we're not going to let it happen again".

Then they would be trying to impeach her the rest of the time.
No one would have time to investigate the Russians.

And that's a fact!

I rooted hard for Hillary, guess I just wish it was her team that exposed them, thanks for the post on Russian Roulette, gotta read that.
