Legal pundits on MSNBC "not 100% sure that payments to Cohen were pay to play". Lets ask M Mulvaney

Mick Mulvaney, a former representative from South Carolina and the current director of the Office of Management and Budget, reportedly advised more than 1,000 bankers and lobbyists to donate to lawmakers in order to sway their opinions.

“We had a hierarchy in my office in Congress,” Mr Mulvaney said at an American Bankers Association (ABA) conference in Washington, according to the New York Times. “If you’re a lobbyist who never gave us money, I didn’t talk to you. If you’re a lobbyist who gave us money, I might talk to you.”

They don't even hide that you have to pay to play.

They just aren't as stupid as Duke Cunningham who had an actual price list

Buncha fricken rotten people. Now trying to split hairs about what behaviors is reprehensible and ,'just not done.". Yeah sure. Cohen bragged about being the fixer. That's what scam shell companies are MADE for. This kind of goofy stuff. We need corporate reform badly. people are breaking laws and it's not loopholes, it's failings of the laws and regulations. NO other "business" in the country get to hide money etc. using civil laws. We need a big fast change, Eliz. Warren style.

... I guarantee they know who you gave money to before you walk in the door. This is true regardless of what letter is after their name.

Every lobbyist already knows this.
