Franken reigned despite being railroaded because he knew as a comic over the years he'd said some things that could be viewed badly and didn't want to stay and fight when Gillibrand and others railroaded him for their own political gain. Schneiderman could have been borderine and could have had other threats made that we don't know about.

However, I am really pissed at Dems for not fighting back, especially Franken when so many witnesses said Tweeden was totally lying. Don't know that level of detail about Schneiderman to make a determination, but if he didn't do anything more egregious that mutually agreed to role play, I'm pissed at him too for having no spine.
