(14,530 posts)is quite clever. Every time his TV appearances drop off, he releases another bombshell. Making it impossible for the media to go into amnesia mode. He is keeping this front and center.
I'm loving it.

(12,582 posts)After a while Trump became a one act pony, and the wall-to-wall coverage of him subsided. Avenatti has the ability to keep the ball in the air day after day.
All Trump has to do to make this end is to drop his civil case against Avenatti's client, according to Lawrence O'Donnell. That would make him look weak, however, and if there's one thing we know about Donnie Two Scoops, he refuses to look weak.

(6,390 posts)A company's expansion abroad can rise and fall over political issues and cost "bigly". Paying them to have access to their companies they consult while he promises those companies access to the fake President perhaps? Corporations fully know that even in the US, political corruption can cost them if they are on the wrong side...much more so internationally.
A $100 bucks says Bolton may have been a factor in reneging on the Iran deal, and Obama another....but bet your ass, Dump was looking to make money off of it...and not enough signed off for him to make a profit.

(7,396 posts)The effectiveness of Avenatti's drip.....drip......big drip......drip campaign is not entirely to give us complete answers. It is designed to counter what Trump does best.....which is to deflect and draw attention to other things. Avenatti is masterfully countering that strategy. He is also defining the arguments.

(43,128 posts)that none of the Republicans except Giuliani (who was hired to do so) go after Avenatti. It's almost as if he's got something on all of them!
