Emphasis added by me. - DonBy Alan Feuer
May 11, 2018
A lawyer who says he once represented two women who claimed that the former New York attorney general, Eric T. Schneiderman, had sexually victimized them several years ago, asserted on Friday that he discussed their claims in 2013 with an unlikely person: Michael D. Cohen, Donald J. Trumps longtime lawyer and fixer.
The lawyer for the women, Peter J. Gleason, offered his surprising account in a letter submitted to Kimba M. Wood, the Manhattan federal judge who is overseeing an ongoing investigation into Mr. Cohen. In the letter, Mr. Gleason asked Judge Wood for an order to protect any records that Mr. Cohen might have concerning their discussion of the women a step he felt was needed after federal agents seized boxes of documents in a series of raids on Mr. Cohens office, apartment and hotel room last month.
The extent of Mr. Cohens memorializing any of our communications is unknown, Mr. Gleason wrote. However, these two womens confidentiality, as victims of a sexual assault, should be superior to that of any unrelated subpoena.
In an interview shortly after his letter was filed, Mr. Gleason without offering details or corroborating evidence of his account said that during their conversation five years ago, Mr. Cohen told him that if Mr. Trump, who was thinking of running for New York governor at the time, were to be elected, he would help bring to light the womens accusations against Mr. Schneiderman.

OP
They're also missing the lack of client/lawyer privilege. He had no business discussing their case

...is any wonder at how these women, months apart, just happened to wander into the office of the same lawyer who was defending an upscale prostitution operation.

If the point of sending them to Gleason in the first place was to make sure that they were compensated, then he would have been doing what he was engaged to do.
If they were sex workers, they weren't going to sue, and they weren't going to go to the police. If left uncompensated, then they would make noise that would be inconvenient for them, the agency, and other clients of the agency.

This is being made up whole cloth as we speak as an attempt to keep certain parts of the material from the FBI raid of Cohen to be used in Court.

I'm pretty sure that he and Mr. Trump developed CA's blackmail program. No other way could Trump have gotten any kind of support from a major political party. The Republican party has an endless supply of compromised politicians.
Blackmail is the only game they have. So of course they will blackmail and/or destroy anyone they want. Trump is a fucking sleaze and he found someone even sleazier to be his bagman.
