Just arrived via email:We must stand up for our rights, our values and our future and the powerful progressive women fighting for them.
Jane Kim is one of those leaders. Shes won landmark progressive legislation and set a powerful example for women and cities across the country. Right now, we need leaders on the front lines fighting for us. We need leaders like Jane Kim.
Can you chip in $99 to defend the 99% against the special interests trying to buy City Hall and help Jane fight for you?
Jane supports healthcare, housing and education as a human right and is a strong supporter of Medicare for All. Her dedication to creating a better quality of life for all has also earned her the endorsement of the California Nurses Association.
Jane fought to increase the minimum wage to $15 an hour and won. She fought to make City College free to all residents and won. She is fighting for universal childcare to expand learning opportunities for young people and empower working women.
If we fight together, with Jane and for Jane, we will win. And we must.
Susan Sarandon

(42,862 posts)Her previous "Green" party affiliation AND Sarandon's endorsement make me suspicious. Is this the "kiss of death" for her campaign?

If SS endorses a person, I would go out of my way to avoid voting for them unless they were the dem candidate.
Of course SS would never endorse a dem probably so yeah.
