Chump change for Trump. he would want and need hundreds of millions of dollars.

I could be wrong though. There could be other more lucrative grifts going down thru other channels that all add up.

7. Lest we forget Cohen desperately wanted a position in the Trump administration

Reports were that during the Trump transition that he and Cohen spoke a few times a day.
This scam of Cohens supposedly began in 2017 into 2018 and could be how Cohen tried to make himself connected to Trump's administration due to not having been given a position in it.

I can't see Cohen trying to do this behind Trump's back knowing that many people were involved from these companies for word to not somehow get back to Trump.
