Watching the NBC Upfronts today and something was rather odd . . .
Each year NBC and the NBC Universal networks put together a show to let the advertisers (and affiliates) know what the new Fall lineup will look like. It's fun. Those of us at the affiliates get to see the stars of each network show talk about how great their shows are. I wish one year I could go to one of the events in person, but it's nice to see it streamed live from Radio City.
This year they introduced the NBC News anchors (minus Rachel Maddow, Chris Hayes & Lawrence O'Donnell - but I digress). They all show up on stage and Lester Holt makes a great speech about how NBC News is the network that shows the people who are the news. Or something like that. Anyway, 2 of the people they have go up on stage together are Joe & Mika. Mika has to hold onto Joe like she can't stand on her own. It looked so awkward. Yeah Mika we get it. You guys are a couple. Not even sure why they were introduced as "NEWS" anyway. They are far from NEWS.
