Vanity Fair has broken a fair number of news stories

but this latest issue, the first without Graydon Carter as editor, just plain sucks. It's all royal wedding, front to back. I am so disappointed. And I renewed only a few months ago. Now I'm stuck with this thing--I hope this is a temporary glitch.

I gleaned what I could from this issue in a very short time and passed it on.

If it doesn't bounce back, I'll be down to the New Yorker and Atlantic.

is a wonderful publication, with a terrific progressive bent. I think you'd like it if you're a fan of The New Yorker and The Atlantic.

16. Do subscribe to the Times and get the Sunday hard copy. That book review section suits me.

Don't now if they have another pub on books that is bigger than that Sunday section.

Also digitally subscribe to the Post.

The New York Review of Books, a separate publication, not related to the Times or any other newspaper. http://www.nybooks.com/ Do take a look--I think you'll really like it.

The royal wedding pretty much hits every category.

has known the magazine to be much more than its tagline. I don't know if you've seen the latest issue, which is virtually 100% royal wedding and a total snooze. I predict it's going to lose a lot of readers if it continues to be a glorified People.

At this point it dawns on me that I'm being trolled. You either have never read the magazine and are being aggressive from ignorance, or you're enjoying making me mad. If you truly have an interest in this topic, read some of the articles I've already named and get back to me. I have no idea otherwise why you're taking this so personally.

Even PBS has showing an hour of Royal Wedding stuff from 10-11 each night this week.

I'm sure VF will be back to it's regular self next issue.

Didn't we fight a little skirmish about that back in the 1700's?

It doesn't mean they want to live under a monarchy but they're interested in it for a whole range of reasons.

SO LET'S SHAME THEM!
