In a long overdue move, we have moved our embassy to Jerusalem. Every nation should have the right to choose its capital, Schumer said in a statement. I sponsored legislation to do this two decades ago, and I applaud President Trump for doing it.

Timing is everything, and until a substantive peace agreement had been realized it was counter productive
Add this to the U.S. unilaterally pulling out of the Iran Nuclear Deal, and the hits keep coming.
The same architects that had us invade Iraq based on a lie, are again in charge of U.S. policy.
These are the folks who told us that the difference between Sunni and Shia were just minor.
Our invasion of Iraq destabilized the balance of power in the middle east, and allowed Iran to fill the void from Saddam Hussein. 80% of Iran is Shia, and while no one is looking it looks like Moqtada al-SadrSadr is winning. The hits keep coming.
For those who don't remember, after our invasion of Iraq, these architects came up with the brillant idea to push for Palestinian elections, and when Hamas won, again those architects were batting 100%, of making the wrong assessment that is
How many times will the same people who make the same mistakes be given the opportunites to continue making those mistakes?
Let's see. Withdraw from the Iraq Nuclear Deal. Move the embassy to Jerusalem. A large protest of people, not all with peaceful intentions, another set of people to insure those protests don't get out of hand with live ammunition...........
What could possibly go wrong?
What is going to happen if the European Allies do not sign on to the U.S. Sanctions against Iran?
I see that suddenly ZTE and Qualcomm are no longer a "threat to our security", and we must do everything possible to protect Chinese jobs.
This is actually a dream, right?

(23,927 posts)they were probably ecstatic at the prospects of killing a bunch of brown people and rushing the apocalypse. but now Schumer's all "thanks for giving me what i always wanted, guys" and i bet that's enough to cause headaches in many of the Trumpanzees.
