FLIPPABLE: Adam Rodriguez for PA-HD189
I am an FDR-style, New Deal Democrat that understands there must be a healthy balance between conservation and progress. Im currently employed by The Betesh Group, as a Graphic Artist. Ive been working in the Apparel Industry since 1996 as both a Designer and an Artist. I have over 23 years of experience making highly salable products for the retail sector with national and international distribution. Ive worked with some of the worlds leading brands along the way. Previous to that, I worked for the NY/NJ Port Authority in their Maintenance Division at both the Lincoln and Holland Tunnels, where I was a member of the Teamsters Union.
Ive also worked as an aApprentice and Journeyman Carpenter in New York City in what used to be known as Local 608, of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America, often working at heights doing various types of high-rise construction.
I was Born in Englewood, NJ in 1963, graduated Midland Park High School in 1982, and attended the Rhode Island School of Design for two years before leaving to pursue my professional interests. Both of my parents were talented professional artists and respected in their fields, a gift which they passed on to me, which I am thankful for every day.
I am a creator and an artist with a vision and the skills to make it into reality. I think it is that vision, which is so lacking among many of our elected leaders, that we need to infuse BACK into our government
for, as FDR said and when there is no vision, the people suffer.
