You don't get it. The FBI was INVESTIGATING your campaign because of CONTACTS with Russia while Moscow was ATTACKING the United States with information warfare. But you're right: this is indeed bigger than Watergate because it involves you aiding and abetting a foreign foe.

Wow, word seems to be coming out that the Obama FBI “SPIED ON THE TRUMP CAMPAIGN WITH AN EMBEDDED INFORMANT.” Andrew McCarthy says, “There’s probably no doubt that they had at least one confidential informant in the campaign.” If so, this is bigger than Watergate!

1. Trump is an idiot.

He just spews words like like diarrhea. He has not context for what Watergate was about. People were hired to break into a Democratic candidate's elections office to look for dirt by the sitting president to help that sitting president's re-election.

Even if what Trump says is accurate, that there was an informant in the campaign, it was because of a legal investigation by the FBI NOT President Obama. President Obama was not running for re-election, there were no hired thieves, and we already know that Feds were listening in on conversations between Russians and other parties at Trump tower because there was already suspicion of criminal activity which may not have been related to the election, but was certainly involving Trump businesses.

Trump is scared and doing what a scared animal, to use his term, does which is lash out.
