If Trump thinks things are tough now, he has a big surprise coming. Over the next 6 months to a year things are going to get brutal for Trump. He will not survive it.

2. Pardons only mean that Mueller has more moves to make.

Pardons mean that those subjected to pardons can still be called as witnesses who MUST testify under penalty of imprisonment. They can remain in prison for as long as they refuse to testify. They can also be charged with perjury if they submit false testimony. And remember that there's an admission of guilt in order for a pardon to be accepted. None of it bodes well for Trumpy.

3. So, Trump pardons Manafort

Manafort then lies his ass of during his subsequent testimony, gets hit with multiple counts of perjury and then Trump pardons him again for the new charges.

Manafort isn't going to care if he has technically admitted to guilt - he's out and free and likely rich.

4. Mueller is going to get him on state charges which are not pardonable by the president.
