The details surrounding First Lady Melania Trump’s “benign kidney condition” are scarce.

The New York Times reported that the White House has been hushed silent about Trump’s whereabouts and medical condition.

Dr. Kelvin Hong, the director of the Johns Hopkins Interventional Radiology Center, said that Trump’s procedure usually calls for a one-night stay...........................................

I had also heard though that it is often done as "day surgery" ...

Edited to add: four years ago I had 2/3 of my left kidney removed due to cancer, and I stayed in the hospital one night.

And had partial organ failure as a result. Now the hospital and her staff are trying to keep a lid on it.

This is just my unsupported speculation. I profoundly hope it's not true. I sat with my late wife as she made a couple of very serious suicide attempts, and I know how difficult and traumatizing it can be.

I wish Melania the best. Nobody deserves to be in her situation.
