4. I think Paul would hurt Obama more than Trump.

The fact that Paul is right on the one really big issue that Obama is wrong on (the war) will draw some progressives away from Obama; they'll ignore the fact that he's wrong on almost every other single issue and cast an anti-war vote.

Trump would be a blessing.

10. Sure, but as the polls confirm, Paul would hurt Romney much more than Obama

He takes about 5% from Obama, but takes about 15% from Romney. If it was just Trump, he'd have to get over 10% from Romney to equal that and I don't see that happening right now.

Or which star is my favorite!!!

Either of them running as an "independent" ensures a landslide for Obama.

They're both nuts. If only this would really happen. I wouldn't mind seeing sister Sarah run too. LOL! More clowns for the car. But Trump wouldn't want to expose his taxes or lack of taxes when it gets down to it. And since it's not really a law, even Mittens might not show his either. They'll claim Big Government and it will fly with the Repukes.

and if the media is reporting on the nutty Trump stuff then that would mean they would be spending less time reporting on all the smears against Obama that will be coming out from the PACs

and maybe a few more too

All that it would do is serve to split/splinter the Repub party, and that might be a really good thing.
