Couldn't he have read it over before hitting the send button? I mean, sheesh, she was in the hospital for a week, he wasn't there for her procedure, then misspells his joy that she's home. It's the perfect metaphor for their marriage and his pResidency as a whole. He only deleted it after the mocking tweets began to pile up. I'll bet "Melanie" was touched by his thoughtful gesture. Not.

He doesn't read, much less proof anything he does. Because, in his mind, everything he does it faultless, first time, every time. Nothing he does can be improved upon as would be expected from a perfect being without flaw. To suggest otherwise, would subject oneself to being cast out from his kingdom. His "Kingdom of Me".
