Anyone noticed that they have dropped off the radar? I did a search for the past year and its mostly conspiracy stuff. Any thoughts? Were they the real deal? Or were they a government agency meant to spread chaos? It is interesting that in a time like this they are nowhere to be seen.

(7,281 posts)All of them though? Just seems pretty implausible since they are from different countries and some were presumably from countries that did not work with the US. Also, everyone know that offense out competes defense when it come to computers. It only takes one.

(6,588 posts)Now? I don't see much from them, & I follow many twitter accounts that were formerly very active, doing things like doxxing wrongdoers. Now, many seem to only tweet about things like foreign pedophile rings, although some are dedicated to identifying & eliminating ISIS accounts.
But ... digging into US government corruption, especially wrt Russia? I haven't heard a peep.

(2,975 posts)When their information resources turned up to be agencies or internationals with their own agenda and stopped participating up here on the surface except in the most cursory ways.
It stopped being 'lulzy' and the peers that were hard charging were all (as mentioned above) too tickled seeing people hurt.
