And the Democratic Party needs to invite them and welcome them in.

I'm a Progressive who has been an active Democrat for years, including during the Obama years and elections. I remember campaigning for McGovern, for Clinton and everyone in between when I was in the US.

But the Democratic Party needs to reach out to Progressives because they don't feel welcome. It's so important. The issues that unite Progressives and traditional Democrats are many, many, many. The issues that divide us are few. And every vote, and every canvasser is needed if we are to win elections.
