What did the MSM learn about themselves from the last election ?

Did they learn anything about false equivalency? No, not that they are different, only by degrees.

Did they learn that profits and ratings can be a dangerous enemy to democracy and a free press ? That greed has its consequences .

Did they learn that polls should be taken with a grain of salt? It is foolish to put too much stock in polls .

Did they learn that people are easily manipulated and propagandized and that the media have a responsibility to protect them from an over-abundance of lies and deceptions ?

Most thinking Americans understand that the MSM did not live up to their responsibilities in 2016.

But they did not....
They should have also learned .... that each segment should not "repeat the same info the segment before stated".

They should too learn to be "News Shows" Again, at least between the hours of 6p-9pm.... and not be a talk show with a long list of Journalist students trying to make a name for themselves, talking incessantly.

No one needs to see hour after hour, different faces telling the same script... when there is so much truth to be told.
They also need to diversify their content and talk about "current relevant news of society", instead of being the Trump Spin Machine.

If there came a day when these people who run the MSM outlets have to worry about paying for rent, utilities, groceries, medicine, etc., then maybe we will see a change, but until then there won't be any learning. THEY don't need to.
