School resource officer charged after accidentally firing gun in Virginia middle school

ALEXANDRIA, Va. (WJLA) — A school resource officer has been charged after he accidentally fired his service gun inside of George Washington Middle School in Alexandria, Virginia in March 2018.

Carl Savoy, 27, was indicted on two misdemeanors, including reckless handling of a firearm, according to ABC7's Tim Barber.
Savoy, a five-year veteran with the Alexandria Police Department, turned himself in Monday. He was later released.

Investigators said Savoy is currently on administrative leave without pay.

Either doesn’t know enough teachers, hasn’t worked in a school, or is a total moron.

and had to stop right after Sandy Hook but my friends are still teachers. One of them told me that some of the teachers in his high school in Southern CA support arming teachers. I was shocked. I asked him if he discussed it with them and he said he hadn't really. He doesn't like confrontations. If I were there it would have been a different story. Of course I got into trouble for voicing my opinion more than once in my life but I would have "schooled" those moronic teachers.
