(31,513 posts)there would never be graduation ceremonies. I realize that bullying is a real problem in school, but you can't excuse homicidal behavior by blaming it on being bullied. Besides that, from other reports I've read, the trigger for his actions might have been that one of the dead students had rejected his romantic advances.

(5,969 posts)they are. One step that might have stopped it would have been if his minor son couldn't simply take his father's guns to school. Not much regret or guilt voiced about this crucial aspect in the article.

(22,976 posts)Sorry dad, you fucked up by having weapons in the house with a struggling teenager. In fact, you are more to blame for his actions by allowing him easy access to firearms.
And whatever you're parenting skills may be, it sounds like you need a refresher course.

(16,999 posts)The shooter said that, not the father who seems absolutely confused about how his child could have done what he did. AP spun what the father said. He said maybe his son was bullied because, he believes, something had to have happened to turn his son into a murderer.

(3,539 posts)Your son murdered 10 people that treated him wrong. Ten human beings that had families and friends that will never see them again. That will have only memories of them and unbearable pain for most of their remaining life and your telling us that your son is a victim. Wow. All I can say is, like father, like son.
