The NFL is pondering a penalty for the players who kneel for the National Anthem! They are thinking of penalize any player 15 yards for unsportsmanlike conduct! This going overboard to the max!

This is definitely against the spirit of the constitution. They might have the right to do it as an employer, but that is an awful precedent.

I’m pretty sure changes like this require a super majority of owners, and I don’t think they will get it.
And if the rule was in effect, how do they avoid a bit of collusion where the same number of players on each side kneel - offsetting penalties have no impact.

and pray to 'Murican Jesus at the top of your lungs during the anthem.
