Nicolle Wallace Destroys Trumps Deep State FBI Conspiracy With A Single Fact
Nicolle Wallace laid to waste the idea that the FBI informant on the Trump campaign was part of a deep state conspiracy with a single fact.

Wallace said on her MSNBC show Deadline: White House, You brought us right to the heart of the presidents source of his agitation, this informant. He said erroneously said I believe that this person gained financially. Thats not true from anything Ive read. Your paper has some reporting from your colleagues. Let me read this to you. So you guys report that the White House to convene GOP lawmakers to review classified information on the FBI source. The source at issue is Stefan Halper. A veteran of the Nixon, Ford, and Reagan administrations see, this doesnt sound like a deep state conspiracy to me.
The deep state a.k.a. the Republican Party is investigating Trump. All of these supposed Deep State figures in this investigation are Republicans. James Comey, Robert Mueller, Rod Rosenstein, are Republicans. There is no FBI or Department of Justice conspiracy to get Trump. It is all Trumps way of villainizing those who are investigating him. Devin Nunes is going to leave the White House after the sham Thursday meeting and breathlessly declare that the documents that he has seen vindicate Trump, and he will probably also call for the appointment of an immediate second special counsel.
Trump and his allies are out to discredit the FBI and end the Russia investigation, and if they have to use a dumb deep state conspiracy that defies all common sense to do it, that is what they are going to do.

(31,507 posts)Trump supporters know that what's going on is highly irregular if not downright illegal, but they just don't care. All they see is Trump sticking it to the "libtards" and they couldn't be happier.

(653 posts)I don't forgive any of these Republicans who suddenly found religion because Trump overtook their party.
No, it doesn't work that way. They are all complicit in the evil Republicans have wrought on this country.
I became politically aware during the Bush Regime and I remember it like yesterday, I also lived in NYC during that time (Pre and Post 9/11)...it was not pretty.
I appreciate what she's saying, but she's not forgiven, they are still the same people.

(1,604 posts)Wish she'd said "Several operatives embraced by and working within the Trump campaign were under prior FBI and NSA surveillance. Why should they (or the campaign for that matter) be immune to continued scrutiny? The fact that they became paid operatives of the campaign does not render moot the prior fact that their actions and associations with foreign government officials were deemed threatening enough to warrant such scrutiny. Quite the opposite!"

(23,168 posts)They are CO-CONSPIRATORS in a conspiracy of treason!! I wouldn't believe it either, except that at the root of it is money and power, so there HAS to be a repuglikkkan attached.

(37,648 posts)I hope it ends well. That the mobster in the W.H. is finally ousted, and the books & movies will record what happened, and who conspired to do this to the country. These people are treasonous, IMO.

None of these people deserve to be re-elected.
I'm talking about the Republican incumbents, not our Dems.

I'm not sure we'll ever recover from this, let alone prevail over it.
