...the DCCC campaigned against her by encouraging her opponent to run anyway even though he gave her his word that he would not.

Exhibit A as to why these general party apparatus and organizations just need to stay the fuck out of it during primaries.

I've seen all sorts of excuses as to why they've needed to get involved in places like CA that have "jungle primaries" where too many candidates can do some damage to our general election chances, but this was not an example of that and they still got involved and campaigned against the favorite of Democratic voters.
